on
October 29, 2009

We’ve gotten several requests to publish a summarized version of the lessons laid out in The 50th Law. Here is a free ebook version of The 50th Law, composed of the chapter headings and some quotes from the book. Hopefully it’ll be useful for anyone who wants to sample the book, use it for reference or send it to a friend. Also, for those of you who want an even simpler version, here is just the text of the chapter headings of The 50th Law.

If you’d like, you can also download a PDF version.

I doubt RG will have a chance to read this, but if you do, I hope you’ll finish that series you had going on the 50th Law (Barack Obama, Realism and Observance of the Law). I’m surprised no one else mentioned it. It’s something I’ve been waiting to see for months.

    Dear Robert,

Good day. Your writings are a blessing. I have realized, through your writings, that true success and power means complete self control and mastery. This has helped me a lot in avoiding numerous little arguments and fights that had no bearing on my life’s goals or Strategy. My quality of life has improved so much by reading your blog and books. I plan to teach my kids the rules of life as detailed in your book once they grow up enough.

Who ever thinks that your writing is evil should remember that : A Book is only as good as the person reading it.

Secondly some one has hacked the “Leave Comments” section in Archive. I tried to post some comments on your article “Corners” but I could not do so and there is stupid message there. Check that out.

I hope you will write many more books in the years to come.

    You are a true Saint.

    Best Regards,

I just finished reading The 50th Law and I have to say it is your most important book. The lesson in it is so important reading it should be a pre-requisite for the 48 Laws and 33 Strategies because without this base one cannot even implement the other lessons. If ever there was a book I don’t want my competition reading it is this one.

My racing number this year is 850(8=infinity, 50=follow the 50th law).

I have never read your book before yesterday, and I only bought and start reading the 48 Laws of Power after seeing you and hearing your talk at Kinokuniya in Singapore yesterday.

I like how you subtly demonstrates that readers should read all the words in your book carefully, without being offendsive to the reader who asked you a question you have already addressed in the preface, and also the way you stressed that we should read more than what our profession require.

In addition, I also like the way you see any book as self-help, which is also an attitude I have always have.

God bless you, and although I might be too cynical after reading the first 10 Laws, I think you shown humility, friendliness, subtle cunning, and have successfully seduct us new readers to buy and read your books. Great demonstrations!

I have changed my whole business and how I deal with my students by using Robert Greene and 50’s philosophies of each book. The 48 Laws, The 33 Strategies, The 50th Law are now all required reading for my students and Instructors.

To incorporate this into my Urban Self Defense Fighting Method has brought us to a level on our own, we can not be matched.

Thank you BOTH for the enlightenment!
